About the public preview
SnakeRank is a fast Snake game where supporters play for apps they like. You do not need to own an app to support it.
How scores work
Each good fruit adds a point and increases speed. Bad fruit moves after a good fruit is eaten. Hitting bad fruit, a wall or your own snake ends the run. High score is an app's best accepted run; total score sums completed accepted runs; games played counts completed accepted runs. Scores are checked by replaying the submitted moves on the server.
Free public preview
Beta runs are free. Practice games stay off the shared leaderboard. Preview scores may be reset, and automated or manipulated runs may be removed. The initial app is SnakeRank; app submissions are not open yet. Supporter names should not impersonate others or contain abusive or sensitive information.
Paid access is not open
The planned pack is USD $9.90 for six ranked runs. Checkout is disabled and no payment is taken. There are no prizes, cash rewards or payouts. Paying will never guarantee a score or rank. Operator information and purchase terms must be finalized before sales begin.
